ORACLE NETSUITE INTEGRATION

Oracle NetSuite + Connect RX.
Keep the product in context.

Connect NetSuite orders with the serialized products behind a pharmaceutical delivery.

01 / THE WORKFLOW

The pharmaceutical connection.

An order reference helps a team find a commercial transaction. A serial helps it find a particular medicine. The integration connects those two views where the workflow requires it, so shipment questions can lead to the relevant product record.

THE WORK, MADE VISIBLE

Follow the references through the workflow.

  1. 01

    Order reference

    The customer and business transaction.

  2. 02

    Fulfillment reference

The shipment represented by the ERP.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW · THE IMPLEMENTATION FOLLOWS YOUR OPERATING REQUIREMENTS

02 / THE WORKFLOW

An operating example.

A pharmaceutical wholesaler fulfills an order represented in NetSuite. The integration relates the agreed order and fulfillment references to the available serialized unit data, then follows the associated receiving or shipping context in Connect RX. A revised order and a repeated document need distinct handling.

03 / THE WORKFLOW

Agree on the information boundary.

Identify the system of record for the product, lot, serialized unit and location. Define which business reference ties the ERP or service record to the traceability task. The interface should preserve those relationships and make an unknown reference a specific issue to resolve.

01

Identifiers

Product and serial context, partner references and site identifiers.

02

Events

The receiving, shipping or other activity represented in the data.

03

Ownership

The source of each record and the team responsible for corrections.

04 / THE WORKFLOW

Fit the interface to the deployed environment.

NetSuite offers SuiteTalk REST web services among its integration options. Confirm available record types, account features, custom fields and the permissions of the integration role before finalizing the mapping. The Connect RX implementation also agrees the event payload, partner specification and expected business response. Use a normal movement and an exception to validate the complete handoff.
